It is a methodology used to understand the current state of a focus area, determine what the future state should look like, develop an action plan for implementation of improvements and gain leadership support. How to do it: Secure Leadership support
Determine the Baseline scope; identify the Baseline team; schedule the Baseline; determine the up front data requirements; distribute customer and metric alignment surveys; train the Baseline Core Team; collect the pre-work data; conduct the Baseline Event; present the results to leadership.
